The engine oil pan and other important components located in close proximity to the road surface must be reliably protected. The NLZ engine protection is designed with Russian roads in mind and fully replicates the geometry of the splash shield, having sufficient rigidity to withstand impacts when hitting an obstacle and to comply with passive safety standards.
  • Serves to prevent mechanical damage to the vehicle's components and assemblies located at the lowest points of the underbody. The protection does not deform under an impact force of up to 1,500 newtons and preserves the vehicle under an impact force of 3,000 newtons.
  • Each NLZ steel protection features a computer-modeled system of stiffening ribs and bends for maximum strength.
  • All fastening elements are galvanized and resistant to aggressive environmental influences, including de-icing reagents. Standard factory holes in the vehicle body are used for mounting, so no additional drilling of the body is required.
  • Plugs for the vehicle's service holes are pre-installed on each set, providing quick access to the drain holes.
  • The mechanically strong, heat-resistant powder coating prevents scratches and corrosion, and also extends the overall service life of the product.
  • Special elastic elements – dampers – eliminate vibration at the points where the protection contacts the body.
The NLZ protection series provides the maximum number of protective elements — protection for the engine oil pan, transmission radiator, differential, and other components. Products made from both steel and aluminum are available.
