The FORTUS mechanical transmission lock is designed for reliable locking of the gear selector.

A distinctive feature of transmission locks is simplicity and convenience in operation.

Operating principle.
The FORTUS transmission lock secures the moving parts of the gear shifting mechanism in the "Reverse" position for manual transmissions and "Parking" for automatic transmissions.
An attempt at mechanical tampering will alter the drive geometry, making vehicle operation impossible.

Opening and closing the FORTUS lock is performed by rotating the key 180°.

The FORTUS lock requires no maintenance.
Each transmission lock set includes 3 keys, an identification card, and a user manual.
A copy of the key can be made only upon presentation of the identification card.
During use of the FORTUS transmission lock accidental locking is excluded.

The FORTUS mechanical transmission lock has high anti-theft properties achieved by using several technological solutions for key protective elements:

• Bumping.
