Hood lock HL MTL
Under the hood of a vehicle are electronic control units and other critical components; access to them creates an opportunity for theft. FORTUS hood locks are designed to prevent unauthorized access to the engine compartment.

Operating principle.
The FORTUS lock secures the hood relative to the car body using additional mounting elements. The locking mechanism is activated by a rigid cable moving within a robust flexible sheath.

Hood lock operation.
Opening the FORTUS lock is done by turning the key 90° and pulling the cylinder out of the lock housing. Closing the lock is performed by pressing on the cylinder.
Locks are divided into universal and model-specific.

Universal FORTUS hood locks:
• HL in break. Installed in the break of the standard hood lock cable.
• HL in reverse. Installed in the reverse of the standard hood lock cable.
• Modifications HL classic and HL mini. Installed without reference to the standard cable and block the hood with their own locking device.

Model-specific FORTUS hood locks:
Locks are developed taking into account the specifics of the engine compartment of a particular vehicle, providing maximum protection and ease of installation.
